Chelsea fans fume at ‘very selfish’ Noni Madueke as footage re-analysed

Chelsea fans were furious with Noni Madueke’s “very selfish” performance during their 4-2 win against Brighton.

The Blues continued their impressive start to the season as Cole Palmer became the first player in history to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League game.

However, Enzo Maresca’s team had plenty of opportunities to add to their goals but weren’t clinical enough in front of goal.

One moment came in the first half when Madueke had the ball inside the box and opted to shoot despite having several teammates to pass to in the box for a simple tap-in.

The 22-year-old’s decision-making throughout the game led to some frustration among Chelsea fans, who felt he should’ve passed at times.

Madueke has become a regular in the Chelsea team under Maresca this season and has scored three goals in the opening five games but is yet to register a single assist.

Chelsea fans claim Noni Madueke has ‘awful decision-making’

The victory against Brighton helped the Blues move into fourth place in the table, but that didn’t stop supporters from claiming Madueke is “very selfish.”
