Chelsea fans rip into ‘snake’ Kai Havertz after what he did vs Arsenal
Chelsea fans have exploded at Kai Havertz after he shushed the home crowd during the Premier League clash v Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca’s side fought to secure a well-deserved 1-1 draw at home after Pedro Neto equalised from Gabriel Martinelli’s strike.
However, much of the focus lingered on the former Chelsea forward who, after finding the back of the net in the first half, taunted the fans before his goal was then disallowed.
Havertz, 25, spent three years with the Blues, during which time he made 139 appearances and scored 32 goals, including the winner in the Champions League final.
Despite this, the German international has proved more than willing to get one over on his former club and has celebrated goals against them in the past.
This time, it was the Chelsea fans who had the last laugh after his goal was chalked off, but that didn’t ease their anger towards his initial celebration.
As a result, he has been branded “embarrassing” and “pathetic” by the supporters who used to sing his name at Stamford Bridge.

Havertz has been a polarising figure during his time at Arsenal, often receiving plaudits for impressive displays leading the line, but he can often prove ineffective.
His recent form for the Gunners has dipped, leaving the supporters frustrated, before his disallowed strike against Chelsea threatened to put an end to his dry run.
As a result of his celebrations, later dramatically called off, Chelsea fans have taken to social media to express their anger as they labelled him “Judas” and “a snake”.
