Chelsea fans say the same thing about Christopher Nkunku after full stats revealed
Chelsea fans were all but unanimous in their reaction to Christopher Nkunku’s performance against Brentford.
Chelsea were held to a frustrating goalless stalemate against their West London rivals, in a result that dented their push for Champions League qualification.
Nkunku was handed a surprise start ahead of Nicolas Jackson, despite the latter recently returning from injury and being the more reliable option throughout the season.
However, the Frenchman failed to make the most of the opportunity. In a rare Premier League start, he was substituted at half-time after a disappointing display, missing a clear-cut chance and losing possession seven times.

Christopher Nkunku has uncertain Chelsea future amid Man United interest
Nkunku has come under fire from Chelsea fans before this season, with the £52 million signing continuing to struggle for form since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman has rarely been trusted with starts in the league, managing just nine Premier League starts this season. Six of those have come in the past two months, largely due to Nicolas Jackson’s spell on the sidelines.
With Jackson only recently returning from injury, Enzo Maresca appeared to opt for rotation when choosing to start Nkunku against Brentford—but may have quickly regretted that decision, hauling him off at half-time after a poor showing.
Nkunku’s lack of minutes had left him open to a January exit, but no move materialised.
Man United shown interest in a potential swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho for Nkunku, but the situation never developed with United losing both Antony and Marcus Rashford temporarily on loan, and Chelsea having already let Joao Felix go.
Despite his league struggles, the 27-year-old has been more effective in cup competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing five assists across all competitions.

Chelsea fans call for Christopher Nkunku sale after Brentford performance
While Nkunku’s stats in other competitions look solid, his Premier League output has continued to frustrate fans. He has only managed three goals in 26 appearances in the league.
Chelsea fans have previously called for Nkunku to be sold earlier in the season, and those voices have grown louder following his disappointing display against Brentford.
Many supporters were united in their frustration, with a large number describing the performance as “embarrassing.” One fan summed up the mood by posting: “I never want to see Nkunku wear a Chelsea shirt again!”
