Chelsea fans tear into Cole Palmer as full stats emerge – ‘let’s not lie…’
Chelsea fans have called out Cole Palmer for his “useless” performance during their most recent outing against Ipswich Town on Monday (30 December).
The Blues were defeated 2-0 following goals from Liam Delap and Omari Hutchinson, extending their winless run to three games.
It also marked another fixture where Palmer failed to register a goal or an assist, with the England international having only scored once in his previous five outings.
The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided six assists throughout 19 appearances in the Premier League this season, but his recent performances have led to question marks from the Stamford Bridge faithful.
Palmer had four shots throughout the game but was only accurate with half of them, while only 50 percent of his dribbles ended up being a success.
The attacking midfielder wasn’t accurate with any of his long balls while he only managed to find a teammate with 17 percent of his crosses in what proved to be a difficult game for him.
Chelsea fans are unimpressed with Cole Palmer
Palmer has proven to be a key man since making the move to Stamford Bridge, but fans have now claimed he’s “useless without large space to run into.”
Others stated that he “disappeared again” during Chelsea’s defeat against the Tractor Boys, leaving them frustrated.
