Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk savaged as ‘crazy’ footage emerges
Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has been mocked for his woeful attempt at goal during their draw against Aston Villa on Saturday night (27 April).
The Blues came back from 2-0 down to clinch a 2-2 draw against the Champions League-chasing Villans after bright moments from some of their young stars in the second 45 minutes.
Villa took a quick lead through an own goal from Marc Cucurella and a stunning strike from January signing Morgan Rogers, but Noni Madueke then bagged in the 62nd minute before captain Conor Gallagher notched a delightfully curled effort to level the score.
However, the Ukraine international was slaughtered for his “crazy” attempt to bag an equaliser for the London side in the first half.
Chelsea man Mudryk bashed for ‘crazy’ attempt at equaliser
With his side 1-0 down in the 38th minute, TNT Sports footage showed Mudryk made an audacious attempt to bag an equaliser with a long-range effort from just outside the box.
However, his strike swerved well wide of the goal and nearly met the corner flag on the right side of Villa Park and his wayward shot even hit the linesman.
The forward had an unimpactful game having managed just 18 passes, 38 touches, two shots and a 40 per cent dribble success rate across his 90 minutes on the field, adding to his woes in his first full season at Stamford Bridge.
Fans have taken to social media to destroy Mudryk, and many are baffled that he is actually a professional football player.
