Chelsea star Noni Madueke hits back at fan after ‘fraud’ claim
Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has sensationally hit back at a fan on social media after he criticised his recent form.
Since joining the club in the summer, Enzo Maresca has implemented a ‘two-squad’ system, preferring certain players for the Premier League and others for cup competitions.
The 22-year-old has established himself as Enzo Maresca’s league option on the right wing, scoring four goals in nine Premier League appearances.
Maresca’s unorthodox style appears to be working, sitting in fourth, Chelsea are once again in the conversation for Champions League qualification for the first time since 2022-23.
Chelsea star Noni Madueke not taking any rubbish
The England international hasn’t made a goal contribution for club or country since Chelsea’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on matchday seven.
Criticised for his recent performance in their 1-1 draw with Man United, the fan claimed that Madueke was getting “Too comfortable” and that he was a “Fraud”.
He still remains the club’s third top goalscorer in the Premier League behind Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson, however, and Madueke took to TikTok to let his critics know.
Madueke is unlikely to feature for Chelsea midweek as they take on Armenian side FC Noah in their third Europa Conference League game of the season.
The West London side have two wins from two as they aim to become the first club to win every major European trophy.
