Chelsea star who lost possession 13 times v Arsenal won’t be at club next season
Chelsea continued their miserable season as they lost 5-0 to London rivals Arsenal on Tuesday (23 April).
The Gunners stormed to the huge win under the lights at the Emirates to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
No Blues player can hold their head high after the heavy defeat, which leaves Mauricio Pochettino’s side ninth in the table.
But enduring a particularly difficult evening was winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who has really failed to impress since joining the West London club.
Chelsea man surely heading for exit door after Arsenal shocker
The 23-year-old moved to the Blues from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal worth £88.5m in January 2023, having come close to joining the Gunners.
But Mikel Arteta will be glad he didn’t sign the Ukraine international after his latest display, with the attacker surely set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer due to his constant struggles.
At the Emirates, Mudryk won just one of his four duels, with one of his two aerial duels won and neither of his two ground duels won.
The winger also lost possession of the ball 13 times, and completed just 64% of his 22 passes, with Pochettino unsurprisingly taking him off just after the hour mark.
One of the main reasons why Chelsea spent so much money to bring him to West London was his dribbling ability, but again he failed to shine in that area, failing to complete his two dribble attempts against Arsenal.

Despite Mudryk being contracted to the club until 2031, Chelsea may be forced to cut their losses this summer, with the attacker having registered totals of just six goals and four assists from his 53 Blues appearances in a disastrous spell so far.
In other news, Chelsea plan to accept £30million defender offer.
