‘Chelsea to sign perfect Noni Madueke replacement’ – fans wowed by journalist’s update

Chelsea fans have urged the club to bring in a new signing to replace Noni Madueke following a fresh transfer update.

Chelsea are targeting reinforcements in attack this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.

They have already shown activity in the transfer window, after Chelsea had multiple bids rejected for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens before the Club World Cup deadline. Talks are expected to continue, with the club keen to secure more firepower on the flanks.

However, it seems the right-wing position could also be up for grabs. Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Chelsea are open to selling Madueke if the right offer comes in during the transfer window.

Now, supporters are calling for the club to move quickly and secure a replacement who can slot straight into the side following an update on their pursuit of another forward.

Chelsea step up Mohamed Kudus pursuit amid Noni Madueke uncertainty

Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian reported on 18 June that “discussions” are ongoing between Chelsea and West Ham over a potential deal for Mohamed Kudus.

The report adds that Chelsea have proposed including players in a part-exchange deal, but West Ham are holding out for a straight sale.

It follows a report from Football Insider that West Ham are prepared to reluctantly let Kudus leave this summer if a suitable offer arrives.

Chelsea previously joined Newcastle in showing interest in the Ghana international, who has endured an underwhelming spell in East London so far.

Despite receiving interest from Saudi Arabia, Kudus is said to have ruled out a move to the Saudi Pro League — a blow to West Ham’s hopes of driving up the fee, but a potential boost for the Blues.

He is under contract at the London Stadium until 2028, with a £75million release clause included but it’s likely West Ham would be willing to accept a lower fee.

Chelsea fans urge Kudus signing as Madueke faces uncertain future

Should Kudus make the move to Stamford Bridge, he would likely compete on the right-hand side, directly impacting Madueke, who has already come under criticism for inconsistent performances.

Chelsea supporters have previously voiced frustration with Madueke’s lack of end product, and many now see Kudus as a potential upgrade.

Reacting to the latest transfer update, one fan wrote: “[Kudus] is more hardworking than Madueke… Make it happen,” while another said: “We’re obviously using [Kudus] to replace Noni. Upgrade.”
