Outspoken pundit and former Celtic man Chris Sutton has blasted Kenny Miller alongside ex-strikers Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn in a Twitter response to a Rangers fan.
The 44-year-old is often receiving messages from the Gers support on social media alongside giving it back after a number of comments made towards the Ibrox giants when speaking as a pundit.
This time one fan under the Twitter name “Simmoneyoungson” went as far as to tell Sutton that he would like to hit the Hoops great with a cricket bat.
Sutton himself then took the opportunity to take a dig back at Rangers, stating via his personal Twitter account that he’s got his fingers crossed that the fan is more accurate than the Gers strikers were in the last campaign when each of Miller, Garner and Waghorn were in the team.
Fingers crossed for you that you're more accurate than your teams strikers were last season👍 https://t.co/xrpSncVi4Y

Both Garner and Waghorn have now left Rangers for Ipswich with veteran Miller the only one of the Gers strikers from last season’s squad remaining.
This summer both Alfredo Morelos and Eduardo Herrera have been added to the Ibrox side and the Colombian has been a huge hit so far, bagging a fine five goals in his first seven appearances.
Meanwhile, Garner and Waghorn have both proven a success on their return to England and have helped Ipswich to 12 points from their first five league games, leaving the Tractor Boys in second place.
In other Rangers news, a manager of an English club has revealed what he’s been told about this Gers 22-year-old.
