Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has aimed a subtle dig at Rangers as the Ibrox side face yet another crisis.
With fans of the Gers still reeling from the 4-0 Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic, reports from the Scottish Sun have emerged that the Gers are set to suspend Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace following a dressing room bust-up with manager Graeme Murty after the Hampden defeat.
With the Gers currently at a low ebb, Sutton couldn’t resist using his personal Twitter account to have a go at the latest goings-on at the Ibrox side.
“It’s all happening at Rangers, there maybe a tweet later telling them they got it wrong,” he said.

Sutton’s Tweet can also be looked at as a sly reference to Tweets from Miller’s wife following the Old Firm game, who was annoyed that he didn’t play in the derby, which was reported in the Daily Record.
Football Insider verdict
There is never a dull moment at either side of the Old Firm, and Sutton’s comments are just another example of another intriguing few days. Sutton’s comments are for more subtle than his usual digs, which may be why it is a reference to the comments made by Miller’s wife after the Glasgow derby. There’s no doubt that Sutton, as well as many others, will have something to say when the official announcement is made about Miller and Wallace, and their impending suspensions, or not as may be the case, and the Old Firm show will roll on for another day, as the Glasgow giants continue to dominate the news.
