Chris Sutton delivers verdict after Celtic win title, takes swipe at Rangers
By Dominic Toner
Chris Sutton expressed his delight on Twitter after Celtic clinched the title on Sunday, but could not resist taking a swipe at Old Firm rivals Rangers.
The Boys won their sixth consecutive league title after a thumping 5-0 away win at Hearts.
Brendan Rodgers has won the Scottish Premiership during his first season in charge and his side are still unbeaten domestically.
Scott Sinclair scored a hat-trick against Hearts, while Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts were also on the scoresheet.
They managed to clinch the title without star striker Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths due to injury, proving how they have been the dominant force in Scotland this season.

Ex-Celtic striker Sutton believes that his former side can go on to win 10 straight league titles unless Rangers chairman Dave King invests in his club.
“Congratulations to Celtic on a brilliant campaign. Brendan didn’t need a magic hat. Unless King spends 10 in a row is on,” Sutton wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Rangers have been unable to compete with Celtic on their return to the top flight and are now 35 points adrift of them in the league standings.
The Gers are currently third-placed in the league table and are 10 points adrift of Aberdeen.
Celtic have been the outstanding side in the division and have won 28 of their league game and drawing the other two.
They drew 2-2 with Inverness back in September and Rangers also managed to get a 1-1 in March.
