Chris Sutton predicts Rangers clash v Partick
By Danny Wright
Former Celtic forward Chris Sutton believes that Rangers will continue their good form with a win at Partick Thistle on Friday night.
Sutton, 44, has predicted that Pedro Caixinha’s men will walk away from Firhill with all three points after winning 2-1 – a result which would see them draw level on points with Celtic at the summit of the Scottish Premiership table.
Rangers have back-to-back trips to Partick over the next few days, facing them again on Tuesday night in the Scottish League Cup quarter final.
A win will no doubt be massive on Friday to help the Gers out in the league, but it would also give them a huge mental advantage going into a game which could see them get close to some silverware.

Caixinha’s side have had a mixed bag of results in the opening fixtures of the season, but things have started to click in place in their last two outings.
The Light Blues eased to a 3-1 victory at Ross County before the international break before last weekend when they hammered Dundee 4-1 at Ibrox.
Partick sit 10th in the table going into their clash with Rangers and are one of three teams yet to win a Premiership fixture along with Kilmarnock and basement boys Dundee.
