'I don't understand', 'Dodgy' - Sutton slams Rodgers for decision on Celtic senior player

BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton has slammed Brendan Rodgers’ handling of the goalkeeping situation at Celtic Park, and in particular the performances of Dorus de Vries.
The Hoops have struggled to replace the injured Craig Gordon, with current number one de Vries failing to convince, especially against Zenit in the Europa League and current number two Scott Bain has not yet played since joining the Hoops from Dundee in January.
“I don’t think Bain will get an opportunity unless de Vries gets injured. I don’t understand why Brendan has stuck with de Vries, he had a dodgy start to his Celtic career, he’s been desperately poor” Sutton said on the Football on BT Sport Twitter account live chat.

Senior player De Vries, 37, will likely continue in goals for the Bhoys in their match against against Dundee on Wednesday night as Bain is ineligible to play against the team he was signed from in January.
It remains to be seen who will be in goals for Saturday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against Championship side Morton at Celtic Park.
Despite the goalkeeping situation, the Hoops will go into the game against Dundee in good spirits, following their 2-0 victory over Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday.
The victory saw the Hoops extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to nine points over Rangers, although Graeme Murty’s side do have the chance to cut the gap to six points when they take on St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
