Christopher Nkunku has ‘played last Chelsea match’ – fans rage at what they saw
Christopher Nkunku and Axel Disasi both found themselves facing calls from Chelsea fans to leave the club after their side’s defeat to Ipswich Town.
Enzo Maresca’s side travelled to Portman Road on Monday (30 December) looking to bounce back from their late defeat to local rivals Fulham last time out.
Things though did not go to plan for the visitors, who trailed at half-time following an early Liam Delap penalty.
They were then 2-0 down shortly after half-time when former Chelsea man Omari Hutchinson found the net against his former club, which was enough for a first home league win this season for Ipswich.
That left some supporters of Maresca’s side keen to see some current members of the squad make their departures from Stamford Bridge in the near future.
Chelsea fans want Nkunku and Disasi gone after Ipswich defeat
For Nkunku, this game represented a rare start in the Premier League but it was not an opportunity he could take, struggling to pose a threat in front of goal before being substituted on the hour-mark.

Disasi also found life hard for Chelsea at Portman Road, failing to offer much control in defence, and it was his loose pass that led to Ipswich scoring the all-important second goal.
As a result, both players were the subject of plenty of ire of supporters of the club as they took to social media to react to that result, with many keen to see the pair leave.
In other news, Chelsea have been tipped to let multiple senior players leave the club in the January transfer window.
