Eze sent a message of encouragement to Crystal Palace supporters after his standout display in the draw against Arsenal, despite growing interest from Premier League rivals.
The 26-year-old posted on Instagram: “Big performance and momentum for Saturday. Praise God” following his brilliant goal and all-round performance at the Emirates.
His message was met with widespread support, with likes from Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier, Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, and Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White.
Palace teammates also joined in, with Mateta responding with heart emojis, while youngster Romain Esse dropped his appreciation in the comments.
Eze has been in inspired form this season and continues to be one of Palace’s most consistent attacking threats. He has registered eight goals and 11 assists so far, proving to be pivotal under Oliver Glasner.
However, his performances have inevitably caught the eye. Football Insider revealed that Manchester United are considering a move for Eze, with Liverpool also entering the frame. For now, Glasner will be hoping both Eze and Mateta can maintain their form and focus as Palace prepare for a crucial FA Cup semi-final clash against Aston Villa on 26 April, with the club eyeing a shot at silverware.
