Cole Palmer and Madueke react to Tosin Adarabioyo’s Chelsea message

Chelsea players have reacted to Tosin Adarabioyo’s social media post as the team prepares to face Brighton in the FA Cup.

Chelsea travel to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton for their fourth-round tie on 8 February, with players staying active on social media ahead of the match.

In the last knockout round, the Blues demolished Morecambe where Adarabioyo posted a message after scoring two Chelsea goals.

Ahead of the Brighton clash, Adarabioyo took to Instagram, posting a message that read, “Eyes on the cup.”

Teammates Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke joined in the comments, with Palmer writing, “My guy tho” while Madueke jokingly added, “Unc post, we are winning.”

Tosin Adarabioyo an important figure for Chelsea after Fulham move

The defender joined Enzo Maresca’s side in the summer, making the switch from West London rivals Fulham on a free transfer.

Manchester United showed late interest in Adarabioyo and attempted to hijack the deal, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Football Insider revealed that Adarabioyo rejected multiple contract offers from Fulham before ultimately choosing Chelsea.

Despite strong competition for places in defence, the Englishman has fought hard to earn his spot and is clearly well-liked in the dressing room.

Chelsea must continue their cup run under Enzo Maresca

Football Insider Verdict

Adarabioyo has often been on the fringes under Maresca this season, making 20 appearances with just nine Premier League starts. However, the FA Cup could provide him with a key opportunity to prove himself.

The West London side are struggling for consistency, with just four wins in their last 10 matches across all competitions and only two league victories in that time.

After an early Carabao Cup exit to finalists Newcastle, the FA Cup clash against Brighton is crucial if Chelsea are to have a realistic shot at silverware in Maresca’s first season.

With a deep squad, rotation is likely, giving Adarabioyo another chance to build on his recent good form.
