Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson respond to Dewsbury-Hall’s Chelsea message

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sent a determined message to Chelsea fans following their latest Club World Cup victory, despite uncertainty over his future at the club.

Chelsea comfortably secured their place in the round of 16 with a commanding 3-0 win over ES Tunis on 25 June.

Liam Delap opened the scoring with a brilliant solo effort, calmly slotting home his first goal for the club. Tosin Adarabioyo and Tyrique George also found the net to round off an impressive performance.

Dewsbury-Hall, who had been on the bench for Chelsea’s first two matches of the tournament, was handed a start and made the most of his opportunity, completing the full 90 minutes and putting in a strong display in midfield.

He had played an influential role across Chelsea’s Conference League campaign, contributing four goals and three assists, and his recent performance looks to have earned him involvement in the Club World Cup squad.

Following the win, the Englishman posted a message for the supporters as the side enter the last 16.

Chelsea teammates react to Dewsbury-Hall’s message amid exit rumours

Dewsbury-Hall shared a positive message on Instagram after making his first appearance of the Club World Cup campaign and posted: “Next stop – Miami” alongside several photos from the 3-0 win over ES Tunis.

A number of Chelsea players showed their support for Dewsbury-Hall, with Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and club captain Reece James all liking the post.

Man City star Phil Foden and former teammate Marcus Bettinelli were also among those to react.

Despite working his way back into Enzo Maresca’s starting line-up, Dewsbury-Hall continues to face uncertainty over his future.

Some sections of the Chelsea fanbase have criticised Dewsbury-Hall for a string of inconsistent league performances, with calls for the club to consider moving him on.

Football Insider previously reported that Chelsea may be willing to lower their asking price for Dewsbury-Hall, with West Ham and Everton among the sides showing interest.

Nicolas Jackson could follow Dewsbury-Hall through Chelsea exit door

Jackson may also be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit this summer, despite his recent social media activity.

Football Insider revealed Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for Jackson and have already begun working on securing his replacement ahead of next season.

His future has been cast into doubt after his sending off in the 3-1 Club World Cup defeat to Flamengo, a moment that appears to have further strained his relationship with Maresca.

With the Blues looking to reshape their squad, both Dewsbury-Hall and Jackson could find themselves moved on in the coming weeks.
