Cole Palmer and Reece James respond to Dewsbury-Hall’s passionate Chelsea message

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had a positive message for the Chelsea fans as the side finished the season with European glory.

After Enzo Maresca’s men sealed Champions League qualification on the final day of the Premier League season, they capped it off in style with silverware, as Chelsea demolished Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final.

Dewsbury-Hall played a key role throughout Chelsea’s European campaign, contributing four goals and three assists along the way. Despite only featuring for the final 10 minutes of the showpiece in Wroclaw, he made an immediate impact, setting up Jadon Sancho’s brilliant finish that sealed the victory.

Following the triumph, the midfielder shared a message with supporters that quickly attracted praise from teammates and fans alike.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sends positive message to fans amid Chelsea exit rumours

The midfielder shared a cryptic message with Chelsea supporters following the club’s Europa Conference League triumph, posting a photo of himself with the trophy and writing: “I love it when a plan comes together…”

Plenty of teammates reacted to the post, with Cole Palmer commenting, “Well deserved bro” and Chelsea captain Reece James replying: “The boy” with a salute emoji. Jadon Sancho, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Tottenham’s James Maddison were among the other players who liked the post.

Despite the upbeat mood in the squad, sections of the Chelsea fanbase have voiced frustration with Dewsbury-Hall‘s domestic form, calling for the club to consider his sale following a string of lacklustre league performances.

He registered just one assist in 13 Premier League appearances and struggled to cement a regular starting role.

Football Insider previously revealed that Chelsea may be open to offloading Dewsbury-Hall this summer and are considering lowering their asking price after failing to move him on in January. Both Everton and West Ham expressed interest during the winter window, though it remains to be seen whether they will revive that interest.

With the summer window now open, the Blues have already started making moves as Chelsea are closing in on signing Liam Delap.

He saw interest from numerous clubs such as Man United and Newcastle, but leading the line at Stamford Bridge may have swayed a move to join Maresca’s side.

Delap, who notched 12 Premier League goals last season, has impressed with his strength and movement, and could provide healthy competition for Nicolas Jackson up front. Whether he is brought in as a starter or squad option remains to be seen, but Chelsea are still looking to bolster their attacking depth ahead of the new campaign.
