It has been a summer of significant change at the Etihad Stadium, with Pep Guardiola overseeing a new era at the club.
The likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker, Ederson and Ilkay Gundogan left Man City in the summer window following an unprecedented period of success.
The club were also busy in terms of incomings, with Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and James Trafford all arriving while Gianluigi Donnarumma completed a deadline-day move.
During the international break, the hierarchy has continued to focus on stability within the squad with a new deal being announced, which drew reaction from across the Premier League.

Rico Lewis confirms contract extension with Man City
Man City confirmed that Rico Lewis has signed a contract extension on 12 September on a five-year deal.
The full-back posted the news on his own Instagram page with an emotional message and said: “I’m delighted to re-sign with Man City! From the very first day I joined the academy, this club felt like home. Let’s keep pushing“.
His post saw reactions from his teammates with Jeremy Doku posting a heart emoji, while Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish liked the post.
His former teammates and fellow academy graduates also showed support as Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers also liked the post.
Lewis was linked with a Man City exit during the summer window following interest from Nottingham Forest in the versatile full-back, but the club were unwilling to negotiate below a substantial fee.
Nottingham Forest were ready to double Lewis’s wages on his previous deal if he were to have made the move to the City Ground, but the 20-year-old still plays a major part in Guardiola’s plans.
