Collymore: Only these two Tottenham players would get in Chelsea side
By Will Butcher
Stan Collymore believes only Tottenham stars Hugo Lloris and either Jan Vertonghen or Toby Alderweireld would get into Chelsea’s starting XI.
The outspoken pundit claimed that when considering both sides, Lloris would replace Thibaut Courtois and either Alderweireld or Vertonghen would come in for England ace Gary Cahill.
Writing in his Daily Mirror column, Collymore declared that Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen would be overlooked if the two sides were combined.
“Man for man, only two of their (Spurs) players — Lloris ahead of Courtois and Alderweireld/Vertonghen over Cahill, which shouldn’t be seen as a slight on the Blues’ England defender — would get into the Chelsea team,” Collymore claimed.
“And that’s not good enough if they want to be seen as genuine challengers.”

The two sides go head-to-head on Wednesday night in a match that could prove pivotal in the Premier League title race come the end of the season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to secure revenge on their home soil, after losing 2-1 to Chelsea towards the end of November, despite going ahead through Eriksen’s powerful opener.
Currently sitting in fifth, Tottenham will be looking to move into third with their 12th Premier League win of the season.
They will do that if they win and north London rivals Arsenal fail to secure all three points against Eddie Howe’s ambitious Bournemouth, who sit in ninth.
Spurs will need in-form duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli to sparkle in their side if they are to beat Antonio Conte’s league leaders, as the Blues look to stretch their winning streak to a record-equalling 14 domestic games.
