Arsenal have made five changes to their side which will face Preston in the FA Cup at Deepdale on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger has decided to recall David Ospina, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Gabriel, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lucas Perez to his starting line-up.

This has resulted in 28-year-old Alexis Sanchez dropping out of the eleven alongside Petr Cech, Laurent Koscielny, Francis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin following the 3-3 draw with Bournemouth.

Arsenal announced the team on their official Twitter page ahead of the cup tie.

The draw against the Cherries has seen the Gunners drop out of the Premier League top four and into fifth place.

Meanwhile, a 1-0 win for Preston over Burton last Monday has seen them take up 11th in the English second tier.

The two sides have not met since a League Cup clash in 1999 with goals from Nwankwo Kanu and Stefan Malz cancelling out a Jon Macken strike in a 2-1 victory for the Gunners.

Arsenal reach the quarter-final stages of the competition in the last campaign after previously winning it for two consecutive seasons.

By contrast, Preston were knocked out at the third round stage last season after losing 2-0 against League One outfit Peterborough.

In other Arsenal team news, Everton may be interested in signing this Gunners forward if Romelu Lukaku leaves the club.
