By Dominic Toner

Liverpool have made one change to their starting XI for the home match against Tottenham in the Premier League.

The Reds host Spurs on Saturday evening and will be looking to bounce back from the 2-0 defeat against Hull.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to make one alteration from the team that lost to relegation threatened Hull.

Emre Can, 23, has been dropped from the side and replaced by Georginio Wijnaldum in the midfield.

Liverpool have announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter account.

Liverpool face a huge match against Spurs at Anfield and desperately need a big result to turn the corner.

The Merseyside club are without a win in their last five Premier League games and have also been dumped out of the EFL and FA Cup recently.

Klopp’s team have slipped down to fifth in the league table and are in danger of missing out on a Champions League spot, despite being regarded as title contenders for the majority of the season so far.

They earned a 1-1 draw on the visit to White Hart Lane in the previous meeting this season and will be hoping that home advantage works in their favour when they face second-placed Spurs.
