Confirmed Tottenham line-up v Man City: Pochettino makes one change
By Dominic Toner
Tottenham have made one change to their starting XI for the away match against Manchester City on Saturday.
Spurs travel to the Etihad Stadium for a Premier League clash and will be looking to make it eight consecutive wins across all competitions.
Mauricio Pochettino has decided to make one alteration to his team from the side that beat West Brom 4-0 in their last match.
Kevin Wimmer has replaced the injured Jan Vertonghen in the only change to the team as Pochettino sticks to his 3-5-2 formation.
Spurs have announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter account.
Spurs are in a great position and will be looking to consolidate their grip on second in the Premier League table, with Liverpool slipping up in a shock 3-2 defeat against Swansea on Saturday afternoon.
The north London club would close the gap to leaders Chelsea to four points if they win and are currently in the in-form side in the division.
They are now considered a main contender for the Premier League title and could all but effectively end Manchester City’s hopes of lifting the crown if they defeat them.
In other Tottenham team news, Jamie Carragher has named the type of player the club must sign to become the real deal.
