Confirmed Tottenham line-up: Pochettino springs tactical surprise
By Harvey Byrne
Tottenham have made just three changes to their side which takes on Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
However, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has sprung a surprise as he seems to have picked a three man defence with two wing-backs.
This will have shocked supporters, as the Argentine boss has stuck to his 4-2-3-1 formation throughout the season up until tonight’s game.
Pochettino has decided to bring key defenders Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Walker back into his back five, while Moussa Dembele comes into the midfield.
This has then seen Kieran Trippier, Kevin Wimmer and Son Heung-min fall out of the starting eleven with Eric Dier dropping out of the midfield and to the defence.

Tottenham are currently sat in fifth place in the Premier League table, two points behind fierce rivals Arsenal in fourth.
They are going into the game against Chelsea in good form with four victories in their last four matches, which has brought a return of 13 goals.
However, the Blues have won their last 13 Premier League matches and will provide Spurs with one of their toughest tests of this campaign.
Additionally, Tottenham have a poor record against Chelsea and have won just one of the two sides last 15 clashes.
However, the north London club will surely be motivated by the fact they can move up to third with a win, while also be the side to end the Blues’ impressive run.
The 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge last season will also be in the back of players minds, which ultimately ended Tottenham’s hopes of winning the title.
