Consistent Tottenham performer named in Sky Sports best XI this season

By Dominic Toner

Kyle Walker is the only Tottenham name listed in a best XI comprised of the best Premier League players this season.

Spurs, Manchester City and Everton are the only clubs still unbeaten in the league after five rounds of fixtures but only one of Mauricio Pochettino’s men has made the cut.

Sky Sports have put together the team of the season so far based on their Power Rankings, which ranks players’ performances across 32 matchday stats.

Spurs right-back Walker has been a part of a side that has kept three clean sheets already this campaign, meaning they hold the best defensive record in the league with just two goals conceded.

Former Spurs player Etienne Capoue, who moved to Watford in 2015, has been included in the team after an impressive start for the Hornets.
