Conte tipped to 'ignite' two Tottenham players after source's training ground reveal
Alan Hutton has tipped Sergio Reguilon and Tanguy Ndombele to “ignite” under the management of Antonio Conte at Tottenham.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the duo would be perfect fits for the Italian manager’s system.
A Tottenham source told Football Insider (3rd November) Conte arranged an 11 v 11 game in his first training session, with both sides lining up in a 3-5-2 formation.
The buzzword emerging from the training ground was “energy”, with the source revealing players are already “loving” working with Conte.
With wing-backs likely to play a major role under the Italian, Hutton suggested Reguilon could become a star player for Spurs.
He also tipped Ndombele to dazzle in a “number 10” role in the midfield.

Asked if there were any Tottenham stars he expected to thrive under Conte, Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I think Reguilon’s a stick on.
“He’s played under all the other managers. I think that kind of fits his bill with the really attacking wing-back. It will be interesting to see what he does on the right.
“Conte likes that number 10, that exciting midfielder like Ndombele.
“He could ignite him, I think that could be a good thing.”
Reguilon started all but one of Tottenham’s 10 Premier League games under Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Portuguese boss benched the Spaniard for the 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Ndombele has started five times in six league games this season.
His one and only goal so far came in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United.
