Costa has bleak Leeds future after Hay transfer update – Mills
Danny Mills has suggested that Leeds attacker Helder Costa is in “no man’s land” at the club after failing to impress.
The former Leeds defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, slammed the ex-Wolves man as “not consistent enough”.
According to The Athletic journalist Phil Hay (August 27th), Costa’s future at Elland Road is in doubt with the Whites targeting another winger.

Speaking on The Phil Hay Show, the Leeds expert hinted that the wide man could be heading for the exit door at the club.
Costa joined Leeds on an initial loan in 2019.
He signed permanently for £15million the following summer, as the club returned to the Premier League.
The Portugal international has flattered to deceive at the club, scoring just eight goals in 61 appearances.
Mills claimed that Costa could struggle to find potential suitors due to his “top-flight wages”.
“It depends on who comes in for him, and whether he wants to go to that club,” he told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“For whatever reason, it hasn’t really happened for him at Leeds.
“We’ve not really seen anything apart from one or two moments.
“He’s not been consistent enough.
“If you compare him to Jack Harrison, they have completely different pathways.
“I can’t see him staying in the Premier League, but he’s probably on top-flight wages.
“He could be stuck in that no man’s land.
“It hasn’t quite clicked for him.”

The former Monaco man’s current terms run until 2024.
Costa has made one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season and played 90 minutes against Crewe in the League Cup in midweek.
In other news, there has been a shocking development in Leeds’ chase for Huddersfield midfielder Lewis O’Brien.
