Cristian Gamboa has revealed his pride on Twitter after Celtic extended their unbeaten run to 27 games, beating the Lisbon Lions’ record.
The Bhoys secured an emphatic 4-0 win against Hearts thanks to goals from Callum McGregor, Patrick Roberts and a brace from in-form striker Scott Sinclair.
Gamboa, 27, declared that it was an “honour” on his personal Twitter account to be part of the Celtic side that broke the 50-year-old record.

Brendan Rodgers’ side surpassed the record after the Lisbon Lions had gone 26 matches without loss in 1966/67.
The Hoops took the lead in the first half with a wonderful finish from attacking midfielder McGregor, before left-back Kieran Tierney stole the show from left-back.
Tierney, 19, provided two assists as he bombed on from left-back to supply crosses for both Sinclair and Roberts to find the back of the net.
Gamboa featured for the Hoops from right-back, before being taken off in the 77th minute for Sweden international Mikael Lustig.
Since his move from Premier League outfit West Brom in the summer for a fee of £1million, Gamboa has made a total of 14 league and cup appearances but is yet to have the impact on Parkhead that he would have first liked.
In other Celtic news, fans have reacted on Twitter to Tierney’s sparkling performance on Twitter.
