Cristian Romero sends message to Yves Bissouma as Tottenham exit rumours swirl
Tottenham pair Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma were pictured together as rumours gather pace around their futures in North London.
Thomas Frank has taken charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Ange Postecoglou’s harsh sacking, with Mohammed Kudus already signed from West Ham on a £55million deal [BBC Sport].
Football Insider understands that Morgan Gibbs-White will also be a Tottenham player this summer despite the ongoing legal issues with Nottingham Forest and Evangelos Marinakis.
Business has really failed to kick-start in North London, with only Fraser Forster, Sergio Reguilon, and Alfie Whiteman leaving as free agents, and Alejo Veliz departing on loan for Rosario Central.
There is plenty of deadwood in the current squad for the new manager to deal with, potentially even players who no longer want to be at the club, but Spurs’ pre-season is just about to begin.

Tottenham duo continue to be linked with moves away
Taking to Instagram stories (17 July), Romero shared an image of Bissouma from the treatment table, simply captioned: “Soldadito,” translating to “Soldier”.
Both players are heavily linked with moves away from North London this summer, though with Frank’s side now returning for pre-season, time is running out for either to find new clubs.

Thomas Frank to continue Tottenham rebuild this summer
Football Insider verdict
Frank has a lot to live up to since Daniel Levy‘s decision to appoint him, having become a fan favourite during his time at the Gtech Community Stadium, but not just because of his managerial style.
The 51-year-old did an incredible amount of work for the surrounding community, and the Bees have been absolutely crushed by his switch to North London, but it is deserved.
Football Insider understands that Tottenham are interested in forward Yoane Wissa, though Brentford want to price clubs out of a transfer, wanting £50million for the 28-year-old.

Part of the job will be securing exits for multiple players as well, with Tottenham expected to accept an offer for Romero, and fans ready to cash in on Bissouma after a difficult spell in North London.
Bissouma, who is out of contract next summer, has long been linked with an exit due to his disappointing performances on the pitch, and it remains to be seen if Frank can turn his fortunes around next term.
The new manager has plenty of work to do before the new season kicks off, and with upcoming friendlies against the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Bayern Munich, he will see his side’s ability very clearly.
