Cristiano Ronaldo could quit Man United after ‘hidden message’ emerges – pundit
Paul Robinson fears Cristiano Ronaldo is edging towards an exit from Man United after missing Sunday’s loss to Manchester City.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one claimed there was “a hidden message” behind Ralf Rangnick’s post-match comments.
Ronaldo was absent from the Red Devils squad which lost 4-1 at the Etihad with a hip flexor problem.

As quoted by Sky Sports (7 March), Rangnick said “I cannot force a player to play” when quizzed about the striker’s injury.
Robinson claimed Ronaldo’s relationship with Ralf Rangnick is clearly “not harmonious.”
“There looked to be a hidden message from Rangnick,” he told Football Insider.
“He didn’t seem convinced by what Ronaldo was saying.
“There is too many stories coming out of that club right now. They are obviously struggling to keep what is going on in house.
“You cannot imagine Ronaldo not wanting to play in a Manchester derby. It is a massive game. The type of game he thrives in.
“The uncertainty around the manager and certain players is making for a difficult atmosphere.
“It is a case of watch this space with Ronaldo. He could be off in the summer. The next manager is going to have a huge say on it.

“We know the size of character Cristiano Ronaldo is. They need him and they need him playing well.
“Something is not right at the moment. The relationship with the manager is not harmonious.”
