Crysencio Summerville shares Wan-Bissaka link-up amid West Ham injury struggles
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was pictured with Crysencio Summerville as the West Ham winger continues to work back to full fitness.
The 23-year-old has not featured for the Hammers since January, having picked up a season-ending hamstring injury during Graham Potter‘s first game in charge.
Supporters were excited to see the former Leeds United star, especially after his goal in the 2-1 win over Man United back in October, but that has been stolen away from them by frustrating injury setbacks.
His return is even more key following Mohammed Kudus‘ £55million move to Tottenham this summer [BBC Sport], with Michail Antonio not yet signing a new deal with the Irons.
Wan-Bissaka’s improved attacking ability will certainly help fill a gap in the final third, scoring twice and bagging five assists, but another attacker will be vital if Potter is to be successful next season.

Crysencio Summerville back in West Ham training
Taking to Instagram stories (22 July), Summerville shared an image of the duo together on the training ground, captioned: “Spider x The Kidd,” with spider web and butterfly emojis.
The duo have spent very little time on the pitch together since their arrivals at the London Stadium last summer, but the Dutch winger appears to be nearing a return from injury very slowly.

Graham Potter already under pressure in East London
Football Insider verdict
Potter is already under pressure at West Ham, with the former Brighton and Chelsea figure only able to win five of his first 19 matches in charge of the Hammers last season.
Considering this, Football Insider understands that the Hammers are ready to push against financial regulations to secure three new signings following El Hadji Malick Diouf’s arrival.
Jean-Clair Todibo, Nayef Aguerd, Luis Guilherme, Guido Rodriguez, and Maxwel Cornet are all linked with exits this summer, but it remains to be seen what the manager’s plans are over the coming weeks.

A new striker signing would be ideal, especially with Niclas Fullkrug still adapting to the league, and Football Insider understands that Tottenham could now sign Evann Guessand instead of the Irons.
Strengthening the defence will also be key, with only five other teams conceding more goals than the Hammers in the Premier League last season, though that is also taking into account Julen Lopetegui’s reign.
Deals have been done for Kyle Walker-Peters and Daniel Cummings, but if Potter’s side are to move away from an impending relegation battle, they need to make further additions.
