‘Crystal Palace to weigh Trevoh Chalobah transfer from Chelsea amid Marc Guehi exit’
Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah could be lined up for another return to Crystal Palace in the summer.
The 25-year-old is of course no stranger to Selhurst Park, having spent the first half of this season on loan with Oliver Glasner’s side.
Chalobah was then recalled from that loan spell by Chelsea in January, following a number of solid performances for the Eagles.
However, there could be the potential for another move between the two clubs, or more than one, in the coming months.

Trevoh Chalobah could replace Marc Guehi
According to a new update from the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace could make a fresh move to bring Chalobah back to Selhurst Park this summer.
It is suggested that could happen through talks over a permanent move for the centre-back, and the need for that deal could be increased by the situation surrounding Marc Guehi.
Earlier this season, Football Insider reported that Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea are all interested in the Crystal Palace captain.
This latest update now states that Guehi is indeed expected to depart the Eagles ahead of the start of next season.
Should that be the case, it would increase the club’s need for a new centre-back, especially given victory for Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final means they will now be playing Europa League football next season.

Chelsea star reunion makes sense for Crystal Palace
Football Insider Verdict
Chalobah has been one of the better defensive performers for Enzo Maresca’s side since he return to Stamford Bridge midway through the season.
Even so, it has been reported that Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo are the only two “untouchable” players at Chelsea heading into the summer transfer window.

As a result, the centre-back will be available for the right price, and it would at least make sense for Crystal Palace to explore what that might be.
If Guehi does depart they will be under pressure to sign a new centre-back, and the money they bring in for him, combined with a new windfall from European football, could make him affordable.
The Chelsea star also knows the club already, and has shown he is a more than capable operator at the top level.
All of that therefore surely makes a reunion with Chalobah this summer an appealing prospect for those connected with Crystal Palace.
