Cunha, Nkunku react to message from Chelsea star Pedro Neto
Man United’s new forward Matheus Cunha and Christopher Nkunku reacted to a message from Chelsea’s Pedro Neto on social media.
Following a fantastic season in which he scored 15 and assisted six goals for the Old Gold, Cunha will make the switch to United in a deal worth £62.5million [Sky Sports].
The 26-year-old is following in the path of his former teammate in switching Wolves for one of the Premier League’s most successful clubs, after Neto joined Chelsea last summer for £54m [Sky Sports].
The Blues winger arrived after scoring 14 and assisting 21 for the Old Gold in 135 appearances, and the 25-year-old has generally been impressive for his new club, if not outstanding.
Neto is naturally a winger, but thanks to a suspension for Nicolas Jackson and the poor form of Nkunku, the Portugal international has found himself used as a makeshift striker at times under Enzo Maresca.

Pedro Neto joins Portugal squad ahead of Nations League clash
Following a testing season that culminated with Chelsea qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Conference League, Neto joined up with the Portugal squad ahead of their Nations League semi-final against Germany.
The 25-year-old shared two images on Instagram, captioned: “É bom estar de volta”, which translates to “It’s good to be back”.
The post was liked by Cunha and Nkunku, with the pair showing support for the talented Chelsea winger.
Christopher Nkunku days at Chelsea numbered after Liam Delap deal
Football Insider Verdict
Having failed to find his feet in West London, Chelsea’s deal to sign Liam Delap appears to signal the end for Nkunku.
The Frenchman arrived with plenty of hype when he made the switch from RB Leipzig to the Blues, but despite scoring plenty in the Conference League, the 27-year-old has managed just six Premier League goals in two seasons.
Paul Robinson revealed to Football Insider exclusively that Chelsea’s rivalry with Tottenham would stop Nkunku from being sold to Ange Postecoglou’s squad, after being linked with a cross-town switch.

If the Blues are unwilling to sell the Frenchman to Spurs, it would seem likely that his time in the Premier League is over.
Nkunku was linked with a move to Bayern Munich in January, and with his best football coming during his time in the Bundesliga, it would be no surprise to see the striker angle for a return to Germany.
