‘Dani Olmo to sign for Man City tomorrow’ – fans react to source’s reveal
Man City fans have urged the club to sign Dani Olmo on a free transfer after Barcelona failed in their attempt to register him for the second half of the season.
The Spanish giants lost their appeal to register the Spain international before the 2024 deadline, meaning he is now unable to play for the club this season.
The 26-year-old joined Barcelona this past summer from RB Leipzig, but after a court rejected their attempt he could now be set to move on.
The defending Premier League champions have identified him as a target to replace Kevin De Bruyne, who is out of contract at the end of this season.
Olmo has scored six goals and provided one assist this season in his 15 appearances across all competitions.
Man City fans want to sign Dani Olmo
City supporters want to see the club be active in the January transfer window after a difficult first half of the season, and Olmo is being seen as a perfect signing.
Fans have told Olmo to “come to Man City and shine” while others believe Rodri can be used to “convince” his Spain teammate to make the switch.
