Daniel James and Lukas Nmecha react as new Leeds signing agreed

Leeds United players were among those to share a reaction after the club confirmed their 10th summer signing.

It has been a busy window for Leeds following their return to the Premier League, with the club backing Daniel Farke heavily in the market.

Big additions such as Lukas Nmecha, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sean Longstaff have already come through the door as Leeds look to build a squad capable of competing at the top level.

Despite the investment, recent results have been a setback. The Whites suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on 23 August and Leeds were then knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Sheffield Wednesday, with several of their new signings involved from the start.

Even so, the board have continued to show faith in Farke and the project, sealing another addition to strengthen the squad further.

Leeds United confirm James Justin signing from Leicester City

Leeds have completed their 10th signing of the summer with the arrival of James Justin from Leicester City for a reported £10 million fee.

The club confirmed the deal through their official channels, with players including Daniel James and fellow new recruit Nmecha among those to react by liking the announcement post on Instagram.

The 27-year-old was a regular for Leicester last season, making 36 Premier League appearances while contributing two goals and two assists. His versatility across the defence made him a target for several clubs, but he has now put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Elland Road.

Meanwhile, The addition of Justin could also pave the way for Isaac Schmidt to leave Leeds, with the defender struggling for minutes under Farke last season and failing to make a single start.

Leeds United lead race to sign Dilane Bakwa

Despite already adding 10 new faces this summer, Farke remains eager to strengthen his attacking options, with Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa emerging as a prime target.

Reports suggest Leeds are believed to be ahead in the race for Bakwa, who is also attracting interest from Nottingham Forest. He enjoyed a strong campaign in Ligue 1 last season, recording six goals and eight assists in 30 appearances as Strasbourg secured a seventh-place finish.

Forest submitted a £21.8million bid for Bakwa earlier this month, but Strasbourg have so far held out for a higher fee. With a move for Manor Solomon now looking unlikely, the Whites are prepared to step in and match the French club’s valuation to secure Bakwa before the deadline.
