Daniel Jebbison undergoing Bournemouth medical after deal agreed – sources

Bournemouth have agreed a £1.5million deal to sign former Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison, sources have told Football Insider.

The 20-year-old is currently undergoing a medical on the south coast, ahead of the proposed move.

If everything goes as planned, the highly-rated forward will be a Bournemouth player this week.

Jebbison left the Blades last month upon the expiry of his contract at Bramall Lane, and has been searching for a new club ever since.

Bournemouth have agreed to pay Sheffield United £1.5million in compensation because he is under the age of 24.

It’s a deal that Bournemouth have had to work hard to achieve, as sources say they have beaten off a number of Premier League and Championship clubs to land Jebbison.

Bournemouth have signed a promising forward

Jebbison might only be 20 years old, but he’s shown plenty of promise in his first few seasons in professional football.

With 18 goals in 66 appearances across various leagues, the forward has showcased plenty of potential to excite fans.

The young striker even boasts some Premier League experience, having played in the top flight five times for the Blades where he scored once.

Jebbison will replace Jamal Lowe, who recently headed out of the club to join Sheffield Wednesday on a two-year deal.

The former Cherries striker moved on from the Vitality on a free transfer after the expiry of his contract.
