Daniel Levy smashes record as Tottenham documents uncovered
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy earned a record-breaking salary of £6.6million last season, Football Insider can reveal.
The Spurs chief already topped the table as the highest-paid director in the Premier League and he has now reinforced his position with his latest jaw-dropping pay package.
Tottenham published their 2022-23 accounts on Wednesday morning (3 April) revealing a total revenue of £550million.
Despite the increase in revenue figures, the North London outfit suffered a loss of £87million.
Tottenham’s accounts also revealed that Levy received a salary of £6.6million last season, which included £3million in “accrued bonuses”.
It marks a significant increase from his salary in Tottenham’s 2021-22 accounts when Levy earned a league-topping £3.3million.
Daniel Levy tops league table after huge salary increase
Brighton’s Paul Barber previously followed behind Levy with a salary of £2.8million but while the Spurs director banked a huge increase, the Seagulls chief’s pay was revealed at £2.4million in their 2022-23 accounts.
Levy’s salary reveal comes at a time when the 62-year-old is facing criticism from the club’s fanbase over increased ticket prices.

Spurs announced last month that they are increasing all season-ticket prices by six per cent from next season and will scrap new senior concessions from 2025-26.
Fans have protested the price rise in recent weeks with supporters turning their back to the team in the 65th minute of their Premier League clash against Luton Town.
