Danny Mills tips Joe Gelhardt and two other Leeds United youngsters to ‘explode’ after reveal
Danny Mills has suggested Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Cresswell and Crysencio Summerville could all explode under Jesse Marsch at Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England full-back claimed all of the club’s senior players should be “worried” about their Elland Road futures.
Marsch revealed at his unveiling on Thursday (3 March) that Gelhardt, Cresswell and Summerville all stood out to him.

Gelhardt was brought off the bench during the 1-0 loss to Leicester ahead of both Tyler Roberts and Patrick Bamford.
“All players should be worried,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“When you get a new manager coming in, you can’t not be worried. You’ve got to understand that he’s a new manager with slightly new ideas. He’s also said there will be slightly more squad rotation and not be afraid to throw the youngsters in.
“Maybe there is going to be a bit more competition for places and that can only be a good thing.
“Gelhardt might come into it a bit more, Summerville and Cresswell both come into reckoning off the back of that and could explode.
“Suddenly, everybody thinks ‘Oh, if I want to play, I’ve got to play a bit better’. The owners will be hoping that comes to fruition.”

Geldhart, Cresswell and Summerville have a combined 20 Premier League appearances for Leeds this term.
Gelhardt has the majority of those with a goal and three assists in 11 apperances, including two starts.
