‘Danny Rohl fears at Leicester as major Sean Dyche update emerges’
Leicester City have concerns over a potential move to appoint Danny Rohl as their new manager, with a fresh update having emerged over the possible appointment of Sean Dyche.
The Foxes endured a dismal return to the Premier League in the 2024/25 campaign, which ended with the club suffering an immediate relegation back to the Championship.
As a result, Leicester have now sacked manager Ruud van Nistelrooy following a disastrous period in charge after the Dutchman was appointed back in December.
However, it seems the club may have problems as they look to bring in one of their preferred replacements at the King Power Stadium.

Sean Dyche and Danny Rohl updates issued
Leicester were thought to be targeting Dyche and Sheffield Wednesday manager Rohl as their favoured options to take over from Van Nistelrooy.
Dyche has been out of work since leaving Everton back at the start of this year, when the club were fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Rohl could leave Sheffield Wednesday amid a fall out with owner Dejphon Chansiri in the wake of some major financial issues at the club.
Even so, a new update from The Telegraph reports that Leicester will target Rohl, but that they have concerns about the compensation they will have to pay if he does not leave the Owls first.
Beyond that, sources at the King Power have apparently “dismissed” the prospect of Dyche returning to work by taking over, seemingly ruling him out of the running for the job.

Leicester City need to act fast
Football Insider Verdict
Regardless of who eventually takes over from Van Nistelrooy at the King Power Stadium, they will have a difficult job on their hands.
Leicester are facing a points deduction for next season after breaching PSR, which will leave them playing catch up at the start of the campaign.
That comes at a time when, amid the wait for news over Van Nistelrooy’s future, preparation for next season has likely been on hold, further adding to the challenge with other clubs already ahead of them.
Both Dyche and Rohl would have been good options to step in given those circumstances, given both are used to managing clubs in difficult positions off the field.
With that in mind, it may feel like an opportunity missed for Leicester if, like Dyche, Rohl does not join th club either.
Consequently, the pressure is now on those at the King Power Stadium to make sure they get the right man in sooner rather than later.
