Darwin Nunez is about to explode at Liverpool after what expert has seen – ‘incredible’
Darwin Nunez just needs one goal to spark his Liverpool career into life.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Nunez’s recent form.
The 23-year-old missed a host of chances in Liverpool’s last two games against Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Despite failing to find the back of the net, McManus is confident Nunez will soon find his best form after watching his performances.
“The only disappointing thing for Liverpool has been Nunez not scoring,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He led the line well and was bright against Aston Villa. He has incredible pace, actually. He is really, really quick which means he can get behind the defence but the finish is never there.
“I think he is trying a little bit too hard to get the goals. I think he just needs to relax and play his natural game, then the goals will come.
“He’s in a team that will create so many chances. When his eye is in, as we have seen at times this season, he looks great.
“But in the last few games, he has missed a lot of chances as the pressure will always be on when you cost that much money.
“I think if one goes in then he will start finding the net more regularly.”

Nunez has scored nine goals in 20 games for Liverpool this season.
He has also registered four assists in all competitions.
