Darwin Nunez has reacted to a confirmed Liverpool exit amid the increasing speculation regarding his future at Anfield.
The Uruguay international fell out of favour under Arne Slot last term, making just eight Premier League starts.
Football Insider exclusively revealed that Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal want to sign Nunez, but there is uncertainty over whether the striker would prefer to move to the Middle East or remain in Europe.
Meanwhile, The Athletic reported on Tuesday, 24 June, that Serie A champions Napoli are expected to make an offer for the 26-year-old in due course.

Slot has already been busy in the transfer market this summer, acquiring both Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, on Monday, 23 June, Liverpool sold Nat Phillips to West Brom, bringing an end to the defender’s seven-year stint as a senior player at Anfield, albeit he has endured several loan spells.
Taking to Instagram [24 June], Phillips wrote: “Absolutely delighted to join WBA and I can’t wait to spend the next three years here.
