Darwin Nunez reacts to Erling Haaland’s message to Man City fans pre-showdown
Erling Haaland had a motivated message for the Man City supporters as they prepare for the FA Cup final.
Man City are gearing up to face Crystal Palace at Wembley on 17 May, as they look to secure yet another piece of silverware under Pep Guardiola.
While it’s the third consecutive FA Cup final for City, the pressure is on to deny Palace a historic first major trophy, adding an extra layer of intensity to the clash.
Haaland returned to the starting XI in the goalless draw against Southampton, a result that left much to be desired, but his presence remains a major boost ahead of the final.
Despite still working his way back to full fitness following an ankle injury that sidelined him since March, the striker shared a message to fans as the build-up to the final continues.

Erling Haaland provides training update ahead of FA Cup final
The striker posted on Instagram with a photo from the latest training session and a caption that read: “FA Cup focus.”
His post earned reactions from teammates Nathan Ake, Ruben Dias and Savinho, while Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez also dropped a like in support.
His season has been disrupted by injuries in the second half of the campaign, but he’s still delivered impressive numbers—scoring 30 goals and providing four assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Amid City’s underwhelming season, speculation has swirled around his future. Haaland has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid, should Vinicius Jr fail to agree a new contract.
However, the Norwegian only recently reaffirmed his commitment to the club by signing a nine-year deal earlier this season.

Eberechi Eze could be available for reduced fee amid Man City interest
Meanwhile, City’s FA Cup final opponents Palace could be showcasing one of Guardiola’s key summer targets at Wembley this weekend.
Football Insider revealed Crystal Palace may accept a bid below Eberechi Eze’s £68 million release clause if the payment terms are favourable amid long-standing interest from City.
With manager Oliver Glasner keen to refresh his squad ahead of the new season, the club could consider parting ways with a top asset to raise funds.
