Darwin Nunez reacts to Erling Haaland’s update as exit whispers intensify
Darwin Nunez has been active on social media reacting to Erling Haaland amid continued rumours of a Liverpool exit.
Although the Premier League season only concluded just over a week ago, several players are already back in training as preparations begin for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Haaland had a few injury scares for Man City during the latter stages of the campaign but appeared to recover well and finished strongly as the side secured qualification for the Champions League.
Man City ended the season without silverware, but Haaland still delivered another prolific campaign, scoring 31 goals across all competitions, including 22 in the Premier League.
Now, the Norwegian striker has offered fans a glimpse into his current training regime as he gears up for international duty.

Erling Haaland trains ahead of Norway vs Italy World Cup qualifier
Haaland posted an update for the fans as Norway are gearing up to face Italy in a World Cup qualifier on 6 June.
The Manchester City striker posted training photos featuring the Norwegian flag, which drew reactions from national teammate Oscar Bobb and Liverpool’s Nunez.
Norway currently sit top of Group I, having won both of their opening matches, while this will be Italy’s first fixture in the group.
Norway last qualified for the World Cup in 1998, but with Haaland leading the line alongside Martin Odegaard and Oscar Bobb, there is growing belief that the team could end that long absence from the tournament.
Darwin Nunez future in doubt as Liverpool prepare for summer changes

Despite engaging with Haaland’s update on social media, speculation continues to grow around Nunez’s future at Liverpool.
The Uruguayan striker has made just eight Premier League starts this season, often finding himself behind Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz in the attacking order.
His limited playing time has fuelled rumours of a summer departure. Football Insider previously reported that Nunez is expected to leave Anfield in the upcoming transfer window.
Interest was strong in January, with Atletico Madrid and clubs from Saudi Arabia interested in Nunez but whether those suitors return remains to be seen.
Liverpool are also being linked with several strikers ahead of the summer, which only strengthens suggestions that Nunez’s time at the club could soon come to an end.
He also turns his attention to international duty, similar to Haaland, as Uruguay face Paraguay and Venezuela in their upcoming qualifiers.
