David Beckham savages Marcus Rashford & Alejandro Garnacho in Man United message

David Beckham has seemingly aimed a savage dig at a few Man United stars on social media after their 2-1 Premier League win over Man City on Sunday (December 15).

Rashford, 27, was dropped from the squad entirely, alongside Alejandro Garnacho, for the Manchester derby after failing to impress Ruben Amorim in their 2-1 Europa League win over Viktoria Plzen in midweek.

When asked about the decision, Amorim alluded to a lack of effort in training, telling Sky Sports after the game: “I pay attention to everything, the way you eat, the way you put your clothes to go to a game. Everything.

“I make my evaluation and then I decide. There is a communication after the last training. They are alright. They had training this morning and I was there. They trained really well.”

The forward’s exclusion comes after the Daily Mail reported United would be willing to sell the winger for £40million in the summer transfer window.

Man United icon David Beckham praises Amad Diallo after Marcus Rashford omission in “big win.”

Josko Gravdiol opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Amad Dillo won a penalty in the 88th minute, which Bruno Fernandes scored, and then bagged the winner two minutes later.

Beckham, 49, took to Instagram after the game to celebrate the win, saying: “And the rebuild begins, big win. Big team win with players who wanna wear this jersey.”

Given Rashford and Garnacho’s omission from the squad, Beckham’s message could be interpreted as a subtle dig at the two forwards.

Despite the win over their bitter rivals, United remain in 13th with 22 points from their opening 16 Premier League games.
