David Ginola believes that Tottenham chief Daniel Levy may accept a big-money offer for centre-forward Harry Kane if a future bid comes in from Real Madrid.
Kane, 24, has been in sensational form for Tottenham over the past few years and has really shifted up through the gears this season.
The England international has been firing on all cylinders, netting 35 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions, leading to him being linked with the likes of Real Madrid.
And Ginola claims that if Los Blancos were to table a world-record bid worth £200million for Kane, then Levy would likely accept it.
“Football careers are very short and you need to think about your own career,” said Ginola, as shown on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast Twitter account on Wednesday.
“You don’t have to be selfish but in a way yes [you do need to be selfish]. It’s a very selfish world.
“If Real Madrid is putting a lot of money and wages on the table, if they’re putting £200million, first of all is Daniel Levy going to refuse the offer? I’m not sure about that.”

A lot has been said about whether Levy can convince his best players to stay at Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino has massively improved the club to the point that they have become genuine title hopefuls before the season started.
However many believe that Levy’s strict wage control and the lack of silverware won in North London may force star players like Kane, Delle Alli and Toby Alderweireld to go elsewhere before their careers end without much to show for it.
Spurs’ only real hopes of silverware this season come in the FA Cup and Champions League.
They face Rochdale in a Fifth Round replay at Wembley on Wednesday night before their second leg against Juventus in the Champions League next week.
