David Moyes has obvious tactic to exploit as Fulham dealt huge injury blow vs Everton

David Moyes has just been dealt a huge advantage as Everton prepare to take on Fulham in their upcoming Premier League clash.

Moyes can become just the third manager to win 20-plus times against a single club in the Premier League, following in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

Grealish’s form has dropped recently, but Everton were still able to draw 1-1 with Sunderland, which saw the Toffees move up to 14th in the table, one spot above their opponents on Saturday, 8 November.

Upcoming matches pose a serious challenge for Moyes and his players, but if Iliman Ndiaye continues his current form, there is a simple out-ball for the Merseysiders to exploit at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Iliman Ndiaye holds the key to Everton victory vs Fulham

With four goals in the Premier League this season, Ndiaye is head and shoulders above his teammates, with the likes of Beto, Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Michael Keane all tied on one goal each.

According to FBref, the 25-year-old ranks in the 95th percentile for successful take-ons, which sees him getting into incredible attacking areas, and therefore, becoming one of the league’s most dangerous wingers.

Marco Silva will be well aware of the Senegal international’s talents on the right flank, but defending against his pace, skill, energy, and tenacity has become even harder for the Cottagers.

Joachim Andersen just returned from injury against Wolves, but Fulham are now without another defender ahead of their trip to Merseyside this weekend.

Antonee Robinson handed another heavy injury blow

Antonee Robinson underwent surgery during the summer, seeing him miss the first few games of the 2025-26 campaign, and the full-back appears to have taken a new hit at Craven Cottage.

Silva has confirmed that the American will not be fit enough for the Premier League clash, handing Moyes the perfect opportunity to throw caution to the wind down the right flank.

While Ryan Sessegnon has come on leaps and bounds this season, the 25-year-old ranks in the 31st percentile for duels won, the 46th percentile for interceptions, and also commits over two fouls per 90 minutes [FotMob].

All of these stats stack up against him, especially against a dangerous winger in Ndiaye, and the Everton man will be licking his lips at the prospect of coming up against the left-back.

Sunderland‘s Reinildo has experienced a positive start to the campaign, but against the Senegalese, he struggled to deal with the challenge. Fulham could face a similar difficulty away from home this weekend.
