‘David Moyes to leave Everton over Jack Harrison update’ – Fans furious

Everton fans have been reacting to the latest updates on the future of Jack Harrison at the club, and many are not happy.

The winger first joined the Toffees in the summer of 2023, when he signed on a season-long loan from Leeds United.

After helping to keep the club in the Premier League Harrison rejoined Everton on loan from Leeds again for the current campaign.

Now, the chances of the 28-year-old remaining on Merseyside beyond the end of this season look to have become clearer, prompting a strong response from a number of the club’s fans.

David Moyes open to Jack Harrison stay

It has been a difficult time for Harrison during both spells at Goodison Park, where he has faced calls for Everton to terminate the deal.

In spite of that, Leeds did not recall Harrison back in the January transfer window, leaving him on Merseyside for the duration.

But with his loan due to expire at the end of this season, the winger is weeks away from a return to now-promoted Leeds.

Even so, it appears there is still the chance that the former Man City prospect could be an Everton player next season after all.

According to a report from The i, Toffees manager David Moyes is a fan of Harrison’s attitude, and appears open to him staying at the club for the Scot’s first full campaign back.

The winger still has three years remaining on his Leeds contract, securing his future at Elland Road until the end of the 2027/28 season.

As a result, any permanent signing of Harrison would require Everton to pay a significant fee for his services.

Everton fans worried over transfer update

Taking to X to react to that latest news on a potential fresh deal for the Leeds loanee, many Toffees supporters were far from impressed.

Given his struggles in front of goal, some questioned whether Moyes should be allowed to remain in charge of the club if he feels Harrison is the right signing.

Others feared that another deal involving the Leeds man might mean that another on-loan Everton attacker, Carlos Acaraz, does not see his loan move from Flamengo made permanent.
