David Prutton issues a brilliant response to Yann Kermorgant after his criticism of Leeds

David Prutton has issued a brilliant response to Reading striker Yann Kermorgant after he claimed Leeds are a “one-man team” and that they have no plan B.
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Putton stated that “if plan A is working then what is there to talk about”.
Leeds are set to travel to Reading on Saturday evening in what will be a crucial Championship showdown with the promotion race set to go to the wire.
Ahead of the game, Kermorgant and Royals manager Jaap Stam have been pretty critical of their opponents.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton believes their comments have spiced things up for the fixture, but he did hit back at Kermorgant for his comments.

“To claim, as Kermorgant did, that Leeds have no plan B without Chris Wood rather ignores the results in the games in which Wood hasn’t played,” Prutton told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“You can overstate his influence and you can’t imagine that Leeds would be in the play-offs without him but it’s not as if Wood has compensated for a terrible defence. Leeds are very good in a few areas, particularly at the back, and the worry of losing a top player is not unique to them.
“Put simply, and accepting that injuries are always a threat, if plan A is working then what is there to talk about?”
New Zealand international Wood has been an integral figure up front for the Whites, scoring 24 goals during the league campaign.
There is the possibility he can hit the 30 goal mark in the Championship for the Yorkshire outfit with eight games of the season still remaining.
The Yorkshire club’s attack has not been the only reason behind their success this term with the defensive unit also playing its part.
During their 38 matches this season, Leeds have conceded 36 goals, only the top, Newcastle and Brighton have conceded less.
By contrast, Reading have shipped 13 more goals than their weekend opponents, including during the 2-0 loss at Elland Road in the reverse fixture.
In other Leeds news, the club have received a blow as this defender has been ruled out for three weeks.
