David Prutton predicts Leeds v Fulham, makes big play-off claim
By Will Butcher
David Prutton believes Leeds will secure all three points against Fulham on Tuesday night at Craven Cottage.
Leeds travel to west London on the back of three wins in their last four games, most recently cruising past Birmingham with a 3-1 win at St. Andrews’ Stadium on Friday night.
Prutton claimed on Sky Sports that Leeds will be “home and hosed” for the Championship play-offs if they beat Fulham, after predicting a 2-1 win against Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.
Former Leeds star Prutton also backed goal machine Chris Wood to continue his form, after his brace on Friday took him to the top of the Championship goalscoring charts with 22 strikes.
“If Leeds win at Fulham then I’d think their almost home and hosed for the play-offs. It would be a massive result and I think they can do it,” Prutton said.

“Leeds can win games in an un-sexy fashion, like they did at Birmingham. It won’t be easy against one of the best footballing teams in the division, but Chris Wood could just make the difference.”
Fulham will also be in buoyant mood as they look to continue their strong form and close in on the Championship’s top six, after winning four of their last five league games.
Serbian boss Jokanovic recently signed a new two-year deal with the Londoners, and will be hoping the positive mood surrounding Craven Cottage can boost his side against Leeds.
However, if Prutton is correct, Leeds could climb into third place and move just four points away from the automatic promotion places, if Brighton and Huddersfield lose on Tuesday.
