David Prutton predicts Leeds v Norwich clash
By Dominic Toner
David Prutton has predicted Leeds to record a narrow victory over Norwich in the Championship.
The Whites host Norwich at Elland Road on Saturday as seventh in the league table plays eight.
Garry Monk’s side need two wins during their remaining two games to give themselves a chance of breaking into the top six, with the Yorkshire club reliant on other teams to slip up.
Leeds have been in the play-off positions during most of the season, but a run of four defeats in their last six games has crushed their chances.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton has tipped the home side to win 1-0, but feels being reliant on several players has hindered their form.

“It’s been a long season for them (Leeds) and they have not made that many changes in the team,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “They are heavily reliant on the likes of Chris Wood, Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson, and collectively maybe they have elevated themselves over their individual abilities.
“They have been brought together by a very good manager who has made them believe in themselves but maybe what we have seen over the last few weeks is perhaps where we thought Leeds would be. Norwich won’t be easy. They have been inconsistent and they are there to put a spanner in the works. Leeds, though, just have to win and I think they will.”
Leeds suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Burton in their last match and that results left them three points behind sixth-placed Fulham.
Monk’s side have already beaten Norwich 3-2 so far this season during their last meeting at Carrow Road.
Teenage midfielder Ronaldo Vieria scored a late winner in a dramatic 3-2 victory in that game and will be hoping to inspire his side once again.
In other Leeds news, Alan Irvine has taken a dig at the club’s fans ahead of Norwich.
